Established in August of 2005 to honor the legacy of Coach Giles, the Josh Giles Tip Off Classic is the Foundation’s longest running event.  It is an annual local preseason tip off tournament allowing the local teams from within Polk County to play against each other to prepare for the upcoming season.

Known as one of the top recruiters on the junior college level, Coach Giles loved to attend local high school basketball games seeking new talent.  As we keep his spirit alive, we encourage all to come out and show support to our local student-athletes and the Josh Giles Foundation.

• All proceeds from this event will fund scholarships to deserving students and provide assistance to programs that promote positive developement in our youth.
